Shining sun with lightning doubts,
Hiding behind frightening clouds,
Endless I wait…
Wandered my thoughts far and near,
Anxious my soul for a glimpse of my dear,
She came in late…
Still stood the heaven; still stood the earth,
Oh! For those divine eyes that’s totally worth.
Charm that would turn even gloom to smile
Lame felt my heart; suddenly a meter was a mile.
Oracle within me yelled: Go ahead, proceed,
She even stood in anticipation, she surely did.
Earnest my approach, just diffident for a while;
Breeze through her hairs; Oh! My heart skipped a beat,
Utter a word? Even composure was a feat,
Truth be told…
I messed up!

Great writing buddy…i suggest you publish these in poetry.com so you get expert opinions about where you are strong and otherwise rather than us ‘aam aadmis’ telling you how awesome (that i honestly believe) it is…
Thanks guys… these comments really helped… I’ll try to keep all your suggestions in mind while posting next time… Cheers…
